Big Creek Slim, bürgerlich Marc Rune aus Dänemark, ist ein Bluesmusiker mit Herz und Seele – tief verwurzelt im Mississippi-Delta-Blues. Seine raue, ungekünstelte Stimme und sein eindringliches Gitarrenspiel zeugen von großer Authentizität und Leidenschaft für den klassischen Blues aus dem Süden der USA.

Er hat neun Alben veröffentlicht und zahlreiche Preise gewonnen, darunter den US-amerikanischen Blues Union Award für das "Best Acoustic Blues Album". Aktuell tourt er mit der Bandbesetzung, mit der auch das Album Goin’ to Germany aufgenommen wurde.

Big Creek Slim, born Marc Rune in Denmark, is a blues artist through and through – firmly rooted in Mississippi Delta blues. His raw, unaffected voice and intense guitar playing are a rare blend of natural talent and deep devotion to the southern blues tradition.

With nine albums and multiple awards under his belt, including "Best Acoustic Blues Album" by the Blues Union USA, Creek is a major figure on the European blues scene. He currently tours with the lineup featured on his latest release, Goin’ to Germany.
