Two people spending days and nights in a packed basement room in Berlin, creating finest
soundscapes. This is Aelion Harp.
Max Feig (guitar) and Käthe Johanning (keyboards) met during their jazz studies and quickly
bonded musically and personally.
The duo seeks the strongest forms of expression in the possibilities of pure togetherness, wants
to perform self-confidently calm and touching and adapt solely to the honest heartfelt taste of the
two musicians. It is a gentle music whose highest goal is musical honesty, without focussed
external effect. Aelion harp stands for a musical and human friendship between the two musicians
and manifests the music that has appeared again and again in all loud, expressive, groove, jazz
and pop contexts since their first meeting.
