Strom & Wasser

Strom & Wasser

20 years of electricity & water - this band is like fireworks! When Heinz Ratz tells, you can expect nothing less than an adventure novel. What the ladies and gentlemen of this band have not experienced and achieved: tours in Scotland and Iceland, performances with such different musicians and bands as Slime, Sarah Connor, Chumbawamba, Konstantin Wecker.

Also spectacular is the moral triathlon, in which Heinz Ratz ran 1000km for homeless people through Germany for three consecutive years, swam more than 850km through German rivers for environmental protection, travelled 7000km in winter by bicycle for a fairer refugee policy. Probably best known when he performed with refugee musicians all over Germany and traveled on self-built rafts from Nuremberg to Berlin to draw attention to the particularly precarious situation of refugee women.

The band successfully collected for threatened self-managed youth centers in East Germany, created the mobile "Songwriter Survival Stage" during Corona times and played last year for the protection of butterflies and insects nationwide. Despite the serious themes, the concerts are full of anarchist wit, great musical joy and extremely danceable. Tonight, there is a cross-section of the program and many dazzling anecdotes. You can look forward to an unparalleled evening!
