Andrea Šulcová is a versatile artist who is active as a singer, songwriter and flutist in the genres of folk, bluegrass, acoustic pop music and jazz. She was born in 1991 in the Czech Republic and studied first at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague before she was accepted as the first flutist at the Jazz Department of the Graz University of Art in Austria.

Since 2015 she has been a member of the unique jazz ensemble Concept Art Orchestra, where she plays as a flutist and also contributes to the management of the ensemble. Before that, she was a member of the Vesna band for three years, combining music with visual art, dance and fashion.

During her studies abroad, she performed with many jazz formations and musicians throughout Europe, including Balázs Balogh, Grazias and Luboš Soukup. She was also selected for the SOFIA (Supporting of Female Improvising Artists) in Switzerland and invited on tour in Denmark with saxophonist Nicole Johänntgenn and Kathrine Winfeld, Stina Andersdotter and Dorota Piotrowska.

In 2018, she had to temporarily stop her musical activities due to serious health problems, but in 2020 she began to devote herself to songwriting and solo singing and to release singles and music videos in collaboration with pianist Vít Křišťan or double bass player Robert Balzar. In November 2021, she finally released a solo EP titled "Nobody Knows", which contains six own songs.

A year later, in November 2022, their debut album "Opportunities" was released, which contains twelve own songs with English lyrics and is oriented towards contemporary folk and pop music. The album was produced by Petr Ostrouchov, who is also part of the accompanying band. Other musicians accompanying the album are guitarist Josef Štěpánek, bassists Jaromír Honzák and Matěj Belko, drummer Martin Novák and pianist Vít Křišťan.

Andrea Šulcová currently divides her time between Prague and Dresden and performs and teaches music. In collaboration with the German pianist Benyamin Nuss she performs in the duo.
