The Bad Plus Tribute - Vincent Meissner Trio

• Vincent Meissner (p)
• Lukas Heckers (drums)
• Florian Müller (double bass)

In order to pull a sausage from the plate as a piano trio, it requires a lot of creative creativity. The success of The Bad Plus thrives on imaginative innovations in the form of crude original compositions and eerily beautiful cover versions. 2021 expanded to the quartet by Ben Monder and Chris Speed, now for the time being ended the trio era of the American supergroup, which originally consisted of the three founding members Reid Anderson, Dave King and Ethan Iverson.

One more reason to stand before the music of one of the most important jazz formations of the 21st century. to bow to the century and to design a concert evening with pieces of the band. The three Leipzig musicians Lukas Heckers (dr), Florian Müller (b) and Vincent Meissner (p) venture in a program of “Hits” and “All time favorites” to the works of the Power Jazz formation and invite you to an entertaining evening of great songs and sound worlds “in tribute to The Bad Plus”.
