About the concert
The sniffing noses Florian “Flinkfinger” Schulz and Valentin “Steinweich” Steinle have a fine smell for what they can’t smell yet. As an irresistible duo “Stultz und Scheinle” they thus solve every puzzle, which, however, usually turns out to be a case to be solved only afterwards. Their cooperation is characterized above all by their direct and intensive exchange.
With an electronic oscillation detector and the wooden heel sonar, Doublefret coordinator Schultz and executive hitmaster Steinle take to the field and take a close look at everything that is going on in front of them. Thus, the rhythms and harmonies of their objects of investigation are rotated, twisted and turned in order to be observed from different perspectives. Exploring open to concrete sound worlds can be counted among her investigative strengths.
Now they have decided to make their working methods accessible to the wider world and present their research results in the Blue Note Dresden.
