AK FBL was founded in 2021 from the Arthur Kohlhaas initiative in Leipzig and describes itself as a flexible collective of artists from different fields. Beginning as a purely acoustic quartet, the band’s music now moves more and more in the electroacoustic field and profiles itself through conceived beats, compositions and the constant interest in interwoven sound through improvisation.

“Difficult to put in drawers makes them curious about more” (John Enders)

The band released a first "EP One" in 2022. Since 2023 she has been working on her debut album, which aims to put the core idea of a collective even more into focus through collaborations. This is expected to be published in 2024.
