Karoline Weidt - The Duo Session

“Karoline Weidt’s singing has truly magical qualities and finds its way into the mind.” – Wolfgang Fricke, jazzreportagen.com

Karoline Weidt combines the energy and complexity of jazz with the catchiness of pop in her music. From the first note, it creates an intense mood, allows spherical vocalises to float with ease and is at the center of the sound with its natural presence. She is accompanied by her long-term duo partner Florian Schultz on the guitar. They interpret their own compositions, as well as imaginative and personal arrangements of jazz and pop songs.
