About the concert
Smacking organ bass, nailed guitar night, cresp snare comping and three young men who fully indulge in music - these are just a few elements that characterize the unique sound image of the band "Analog Organism". For them, music is more than just tones, it’s about the pulsating swing and the thrilling energy that shapes each of their performances. They play not only with energy, but also with elegant precision, a keen sense of nuance and dynamic expression, exuding authentic American attitudes.
The result is a thrilling program that blurs the lines between straight-ahead jazz and new game understanding and captivates the audience.
The two brothers Elias Vollmer (organ) and Victor Vollmer (guitar) began playing music together at an early age and developing their skills on the instrument. Desiring to professionalize her passion, Victor decided to study at the prestigious Jazz Institute in Berlin, while Elias deepened his musical education at the Leipzig University. At the Leipzig University, Jonas Müller (drums) finally joined, who immediately felt connected to the two brothers both humanly and musically.
Not only did her musical interests harmonize perfectly, but also her attitude towards playing and her shared will to get the best out of herself and her music.
The members of "Analog Organism" can already look back on an impressive live experience and have already enriched the stages of this world alongside renowned German jazz artists such as Torsten Goods, Matthias Bublath and Johannes Enders. Their performances are a true experience, in which they enthrall the audience with their enthralling musicality and their deep-rooted sense of tradition. "Analog Organism" gives a refreshing and contemporary interpretation to the line-up, which emerged in the late 1950s, and thus allows the timeless beauty of jazz to shine in new splendor.
