YÄLLEE

YÆLLEE. In a modern sound from Neo Soul,

R’n’B and jazz seamlessly weaves Armenian folklore. An interplay of melancholy and energy, spherical sounds and

Groove creates a characterful melange, nourished by the

musical and cultural backgrounds of the seven musicians around the singer Yelena Mashkaryan. Inspired by the rich traditions of R’n’B, Neo Soul and Jazz, a network of anthemic melodies, multi-layered harmonics and infectious grooves emerges, which also breathes new life into Armenian folk songs.
