DÈЛIYA

The quartet DÈЛIYA represents a unique fusion of jazz harmonies, Balkan-typical, odd rhythms and urban electronic sounds. This results in an experimental, danceable fusion jazz style based on collective improvisation. The music of the band is significantly influenced by the home of the singer Dessi Markova-Bulgaria. Through folkloric melodies, live effects and spoken words, she seeks ways to tell the story of her migration and break musical boundaries.
