Like the Genschere “CRISPR-Cas9”, the band around the three Leipzig musicians Paula Wünsch (shejust_left, Spielvereinigung Sued), Simon Lucaciu (Simon Lucaciu Trio, AKFL, Lucaciu3) and Jan-Einar Groh (Johanna Summer Trio, Radial Engine) cuts through the anatomy of time.
Stylistically, the trio ventures the balancing act between dirty, stumbling beats and the spontaneity and gesture from the beginnings of free jazz in the middle of the last century.
