The Rockin' Lafayettes

Rockin‘ Rocket-Blues & Rockabilly

From the rockabilly primordial rock "The Swampcats", Jimmi Lafayette founded the now infamous Roots trio in 1986. The three gentlemen of the Rockin’ Rocket blues are not purists, they are wide-ranging and love to live, play and dance at several weddings: Rockabilly, Rock’n’Roll, Rockin’ Rocket Blues & Pin-Up Jazz. For more than 30 years, they have been polishing all imaginable stages with their energetic concerts. For the right, raw sound, in addition to virtuosic, epochs merging play and artistic mind also the ancient equipment.

The three men know what they are doing and have fun doing it - always well dressed, of course, in a suit and hat. 2oo8 played The Rockin' Lafayettes in the opening act for Mr. Chuck Berry. These gentlemen do not go "Back to the Roots" - they themselves are "Roots".
