Sunday Morning Orchestra

Non Intellectual Garage Jazz
Between serene and cloudy, with double bass and voice - inspired by old haudegen and (un)known sizes - a charming two-men's choir is created. The genre drawer evasively serves the orchestra from only two ingredients different courses between pop noir and garage jazz with a few blue notes.
A voice dances gently around the woody depths of the double bass, sometimes accompanied by reduced guitar harmonies. Sometimes airy light, sometimes oppressively warm, sometimes experimental, always lo-fi. This swings and swings up to the ecstatic snapping of fingers and toe wiggles.
“[...] Maleen Schulz-Kallenbach and Oliver Zoglauer credenzen song miniatures from foreign and own pen – as wonderful as a later coffee on the balcony on a summer Sunday.” (NN nordbayern.de)
Featuring a handful of musical guests, the orchestra is releasing its debut album, “Red Roses or Fallen Leaves”. There’s a bit of everything: warmth and coolness, light and darkness, beginnings and endings, blue and yellow, frost and blossom, red roses and falling leaves.
"Ultimately wholesome - like red wine to listen to." Full, lush and yet grounded Lofi jazz with a sweet note. – Helene Mayerhofer
