Gabriel Rosenbach & Tobias Altripp Duo

Gabriel Rosenbach and Tobias Altripp met for the first time at the federal meeting "Jugend Jazzt" in 2015. The concept of bringing jazz-enthusiastic young people into contact with each other fell here on more than fertile ground. Since then, the paths of the two musicians have crossed frequently and in a wide variety of projects. Collaboration in quartet, quintet, octet and big band formations is now part of their musical career. The next step is to appear in the duo - only two.

A careful selection of repertoire and special attention to detail in the arrangements of the songs ensure that the audience will miss neither bass, drums, nor any other instrument. Rather, the music is revived by attaching a felt even higher value to each individual tone, with a trace of virtuosity being skillfully brought out over and over again. The search for this golden mean is a life task for musicians, which these two colleagues now face once again.
