Meinberg/Willson/Wiest

The high-calibre trio Meinberg/Willson/Wiest consists of young but seasoned musicians who have found and played in the New York jazz scene over the last few years. The German pianist Lajos Meinberg, the Chilean bassist Willson and the German drummer Wiest each bring with them a wide variety of musical influences, but combine them into a harmonious and organic band sound. Now that pianist Rasmus Sørensen is living in Denmark again, the musicians are all the more looking forward to a long-awaited reunion and will share this joy with the audience!

At this concert, the trio will present compositions by all band members associated with modern jazz along with jazz standards.
