Hilde Louise & Anders Aarum Trio

The Norwegian jazz powerhouse consisting of singer Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen and pianist Anders Aarum presents the core of her work, accompanied by Jens Fossum on double bass and Hermund Nygård on drums. Two exclusive sets full of rhythm, elegance and hypnotizing melodies – crisp and dark like a Scandinavian thriller.

“The seductively warm and at the same time powerful voice of Asbjørnsen comes flirtatious and mad, then dreamy and lovely again.” There is something diva-like about this, the Norwegian is in direct line with the legendary singers of the 40s and 50s in the USA." vinyl-fan.de on "A Swing Of Its Own"

Melodic, calm, immensely flowing classical trio jazz with musicians who understand each other blindly and transport an incredible inner harmony and aesthetic tones into the pieces. This album is simply fantastic! For anyone who has even a little affection for trio jazz, a revelation and for the connoisseurs of the genre a real tip! hoeren-und-fuehlen.de on «Oslo Puzzle»
