Stef Giordi & Connected

Stef Giordi & Connected is a jazz rock project from Trentino, Italy, conducted by guitarist Stefano Giordani. The band combines energetic jazz with rock, world music and electronic elements – a stylistic melting pot that breaks new paths both rhythmically and sonically.

At the center is Stefano Giordani, a versatile guitarist with a penchant for cross-genre compositions and a pinch of irony. His music is characterized by groove, dynamism and a fine sense of melodies and sound colors. Together with Matteo Giordani (drums) and Roberto Zecchinelli (bass), he forms the core of the band.

Stef Giordi & Connected has performed at numerous festivals, including the Nuoro Jazz Festival, the Lyon Jazz Festival, the South Tyrol Jazz Festival and the Lagarina Jazz Festival. International collaborations with Russ Peterson (USA) and Tomas Bura (PL) expanded the musical horizon of the trio.

The press praises the project as one of the most exciting current ensembles of the contemporary scene: “Music full of groove and charm that fully reflects the search for new frontiers in the stylistic melting pot of contemporary music.” – Roberto Cipelli, Paolo Fresu Quintet

“Music that combines in an original way acoustic elements and electronic elaborations, nu-jazz and polyrhythms, melodic taste and dynamic strength.” – Italian Press
