About the concert
Luciana Morelli has masterfully and versatilely integrated her facets as a performer, composer and arranger into her eclectic new album "Words of the wind", in which she presents music for various ensembles, from traditional jazz quintet to the - in the field of jazz - rather unusual combination of voice and string quartet or viola and vocal ensemble. The words of the poets Emily Brontë, Alejandra Pizarnik, Anne Carson and Robin Myers rise and find their musical expression in the singer’s voice and compositions.
Luciana mixes stories, poetry and harmonies into a colourful palette of jazz and its Argentinean roots, expressing a personal and distinctive poetic.
