Dietze/Meissner/Heigenhuber/Weschenfelder

With innovative sound cascades, sophisticated rhythmic structures and a clear formal stringency, the quartet Dietze/Meissner/Heigenhuber/Weschenfelder moves at the interface between composition and improvisation. The four musicians from Dresden and Leipzig – Samuel Dietze (drums), Vincent Meissner (piano), Mark Weschenfelder (alt saxophone) and Lorenz Heigenhuber (double bass) – create a multi-layered musical language that combines modernity with playfulness.

Her program combines the own compositions of all members with sophisticated arrangements of pieces by her favorite composers.
