Almost forgotten images, dreams beyond reality and compulsion, moods between deep melancholy and exuberant joy – the music of LEJAS evokes all this.

The trio consisting of Leila Greifenhahn (saxophone), Johann von Ruthendorf (cello) and Elias Störr (piano) creates a sound space with their own compositions and sensitive arrangements of selected works, which nestles charmingly and sensitively in the ears and hearts of the audience.

Founded in 2024 in Dresden, LEJAS combines carefully tuned sounds with refreshing improvisations. This creates a unique sound - rich in poetry, liveliness and longing.
