Christina Zurhausen Trio – Monk Abend Thelonious Monk is considered one of the most idiosyncratic composers in the history of jazz – and it is precisely this attachment that is the focus of the third concert evening. Christina Zurhausen approaches Monk’s work with respect and experimental curiosity. Supported by Paula Wünsche on bass and Ramon Keck on drums, an exciting soundscape is created between angular harmonics, lyrical moments and rhythmic freedom.
