Antonio Dayyani Sextet

Danish drummer and composer Antonio Dayyani combines Nordic melancholy with elements of Americana jazz. With his sextet he presents finely structured sound worlds and narrative compositions. After his debut album, his second work Trop op was released in 2024 by the renowned label April Records. He plays live with an ensemble of young talents from the Danish jazz scene: Andrea Maagaard (piano), Harald Hagelskjaer (bass), Cahlo Heyman Krill (guitar), Magnus Munk Taekker (pedal steel guitar) and Jon Askjaer (flying horn).
