About the concert
Camona combines elements of soul, jazz and R’n’B. Over muted guitar and rhythmic bass and drumgrooves, stories unfold in warm melodies. Her music is inspired by expressive artists such as Donny Hathaway, Amy Winehouse and Marvin Gaye. Camona is accompanied by a recorded band that shapes their sound: Flo Hasenfuss (guitar), Paula Rösner (keys), Linus Bahr (drums) and Thomas C. Tito (bass).
The ensemble is complemented by a powerful Brass section, which provides additional depth with its warm wind sets: Friederike Lenz (Alt-Saxophon), Baraq Sushil (Tenor-Saxophon), Kolja Keller (trumpet) and Alma Trunk (trumpet).
