About the concert
The Artur Rutkevich Quartet has found its artistic home in the vibrant jazz clubs of Berlin, such as Schlot, ZigZag and Bflat. But their true home extends beyond the borders of Berlin - at jazz festivals all over Europe or on tour through various cities around the world.
Founded in 2022 by Artur Rutkevich as part of the music studies at the Jazzinstitut in Berlin, the band includes five talented musicians - Artur Rutkevich on the alto saxophone, Arseny Rykov on the piano, Tiago Duarte on the double bass, Henry Hahnfeldt on the drums. The band shines with the energetic sounds and the clear sound. At the centre of the band, Artur Rutkevich unfolds an impressive, contrast-rich and powerful sound on the alto saxophone, which thrills and captivates the audience.
