Linus Eppinger/Benjamin Herman Quartet

Blue Note Dresden – exterior view

Dutch/German quartet revives the Hammond organ-influenced soul jazz sound of the 60s. With Linus Eppinger on the guitar and Benjamin Herman on the alto saxophone, two of the most active jazz musicians from Amsterdam have teamed up to pay tribute to their great hero Lou Donaldson and Grant Green. They are supported by Thomas Bauser on the Hammond organ and the Austrian drumming virtuoso Peter Primus Frosch. This promises a grooving evening full of blues, boogaloo and soulful ballads.

  • Linus Eppinger - guitar
  • Benjamin Herman - alto saxophone
  • Thomas Bauser - Hammond Organ
