About the concert
Johannes Ravn Trio is a project of young Danish and German musicians who have met in New York City during long periods of study and life. There a close musical connection emerged, which forms the basis of the trio. It is mainly own compositions by Johannes Ravn, characterized by an empathetic, introspective sound image. The music is calm, soulful and designed to create space for reflection on interpersonal closeness, giving and receiving love, and one’s own position in the world. The trio consists of Johannes Ravn, Daniel Nagel and Anders Bak Julsgaard.
