Tscheky & The Blues Kings

Tscheky & The Blues Kings stand for powerful Texas blues and blues rock with distinct rock ’n’ roll influences. The five-piece band from southern Germany has been delivering a raw, dynamic mixture of tradition and its own handwriting for over a decade. The focus is on numerous original compositions, complemented by selected classics in fresh, energetic arrangements.

Founded by Michael “Tscheky” Sedlatschek (guitar, vocals) and Christoph Voggesser (guitar, harp), the band with Andreas Schatz (Keys), Markus Rehrl (bass) and Elija von Le Suire (drums) has developed into a well-rehearsed powerhouse. As finalists of the German Blues Challenge 2024, they are part of the “New Generation” of the German Blues.

At renowned festivals and club stages in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the band convinces with an intensive live presence. Joint appearances with international greats as well as TV contributions and awards underline their importance in the scene. With the releases Hit The Ground Running (2016), Men Of Blues (2021) and the current EP On The Shoulders Of Giants (2025), Tscheky & The Blues Kings show that Blues Rock is vibrant, modern and sustainable.
