About the concert
The Bogs is the experimental music project of singer-songwriter and pianist Bianca Giacomoni. Characteristic of the fusion of jazz and neoclassical sounds within a dark ambient and sadcore aesthetic, the songs alternate between tenderness and power, creating haunting atmospheres enriched by refined and dissonant piano lines, ornate improvisations on saxophone and bass clarinet, electronic experiments and noise effects on electric bass, and concise rhythm groups.
The result is music of powerful fragility that captivates the audience through introspective lyrics that reflect on unpleasant vulnerabilities and the power of music itself.
