Shankland/Torrents/Seaman is an international trio that combines deep improvisational vocabulary with rhythmic freedom and lyrical clarity. Their sound blends European jazz traditions with contemporary global influences and is characterized by a lively, dynamic interplay full of energy, joy and musical depth. Inspired by artists such as Sullivan Fortner, Brad Mehldau and Thelonious Monk, the ensemble develops its own sound language that is both modern, open and unmistakably personal.

BBC Radio Scotland Young Jazz Musician of the Year award-winning pianist Ben Shankland (Edinburgh), bassist Aniol Torrents (Barcelona) and drummer Finn Seemann (Berlin) combine their individual voices to form a powerful, multi-layered ensemble.
