Gamlito

Gamlito is an international jazz quartet from Berlin with roots in Denmark, Scotland, Germany and Spain. The four musicians met in the open and experimental music scene of the capital, where a common musical language quickly developed.

The band plays exclusively their own music, which oscillates between dreamy sound surfaces and rhythmic energy. Influences from Scandinavian folk music, contemporary American jazz and the Berlin scene meet the different cultural backgrounds of the musicians. Gamlito is less about stylistic boundaries than about a direct, lively and personal band sound.
