Agnes Hansson Quartet

The quartet Hansson/Bode/Greve/Zeimetz works with original compositions of all four members. The individual pieces originate from different artistic approaches and move between diverse moods and directions, but always remain anchored in a closed band sound.

In their music, they consciously keep things open; curiosity, playfulness and trust form central elements of their interaction. The pieces often alternate between fixed material and spontaneous moments in which ideas can expand or change in real time. Their influences range loosely from free jazz and Afrobeat to experimental rock and pop.
