Gershkovich Trio

With the Gershkovich Trio, a fresh voice enters the young German jazz scene. Pianist and bandleader Dominik Gershkovich combines lyrical sound worlds with open improvisation and modern jazz language in his compositions. His pieces tell stories, sometimes poetic and introspective, sometimes energetic and surprising.

In addition to his expressive piano playing, Gershkovich also uses his voice as an additional sound element and thus expands the musical palette of the trio.

Together with Moritz Grosch and Luca Genze, a sound is created that lives on intense interaction, spontaneous interaction and great sonic diversity. Each musician brings their own musical signature and together they form a dynamic, lively band sound.

The Gershkovich Trio stands for modern jazz full of atmosphere, joy and musical openness. It is personal, fresh and with a clear artistic handwriting.
