Bokani Dyer Trio

The Bokani Dyer Trio is a high-voltage powerhouse of modern Afro-jazz, led by the visionary pianist and composer Bokani Dyer. Born from Botswana’s soul and sharpened on South Africa’s competitive jazz scene, the trio—Dyer on piano, with lethal rhythm section Timothy Norton (bass) and Lumanyano Mzi (drums)—doesn’t just play music: they hunt it. Their sound is a storm of swinging post-bop, hypnotic groove, and raw, harmonic electricity. Live, they transform from a trio into a single, breathing organism—unpredictable, thrilling, and absolutely relentless.

When they hit the stage, you don’t just hear jazz. You survive it.
