Armin Jambor Quartet

Armin Jambor Quartet

The Vienna-based saxophonist and composer Armin Jambor combines contemporary jazz with influences from European chamber music. Lyrical melodies, elaborate compositions and energetic improvisations meet modern rhythmic structures and a very direct interplay between the four musicians.

In November 2026, Touch & Fade, the quartet’s debut album, will be released in collaboration with G2 and Sony Music. Recorded in Vienna after several international tours, the music moves between European and American jazz traditions – melodically clear, rhythmically mobile and with plenty of room for improvisation.

The release tour will take the quartet through Spain, Germany and Austria in November 2026 and to Jamboree Barcelona, B-flat Berlin and Blue Note Dresden, among others.

Composition:

• Armin Jambor – tenor saxophone
• Mátyás Bartha - Piano
• Danny Ziemann - Bass
• Oleg Markov - drums
