Nujakasha

“Nujakasha // Ein Name, ein Sound.

The three-piece band Nujakasha creates spherical sound worlds and driving beats – purely instrumental. Drums, bass, piano, synthesizer and violin merge into a sound inspired by hip hop, jazz and soul.

Rhythmic overlays meet danceable grooves, rapid runs meet lyrical melodies. The result: a sound image full of dynamism, depth and atmosphere – sometimes hypnotic, sometimes driving, always unique.

With their first longplayer, the band breaks new paths: instrumental jazz and hip hop are reinterpreted – experimental, emotional and full of joy. Large arrangements meet sensitive details, organic energy on electronic wide. Nujakasha consciously ventures out of familiar structures and creates a music that reconciles sound power and sensitivity.

A special highlight is the rap feature with NEONE the Wonderer, which adds depth and narrative power to the album.

Nujakasha show that instrumental music can be much more than background – it is expression, movement, communication. A sound that builds bridges: between jazz club and club night, between complexity and lightness, between head and body.
