About the concert
Consisting of Caspar Rutsch Ts, Moritz Schöwing p, Julian Grüneberg db and Johannes Kalt dr, the Caspar Rutsch Quartet plays modern original compositions as well as contemporary standards.
Caspar’s pieces are characterised by driving rhythms, as well as supporting melodies and, inspired by musicians such as Paul Motian or Seamus Blake, move in the tradition of jazz modernism.
