Christian Müller Quartett 

The Christian Müller Quartet is a Berlin ensemble around the bassist and composer Christian Müller. The band moves musically between contemporary jazz, classical sound language and the raw energy of alternative rock – a mixture of thoughtful composition and free improvisation.

The compositions are characterised by complex rhythms, dark harmonies and a melancholy note, which always ends in hope.

A musician friend once put the sound of the band in a nutshell: “Like a perfect mix of Stravinsky and My Chemical Romance.” An unusual picture – but that is exactly what makes you curious.
