About the concert
Eugenia Serra is originally from Valencia but is now based in Amsterdam, where she collaborates with the Danish jazz pianist Oscar Ployart. She is an outstanding vocalist with an incredible voice, a deep sense of rhythm, and a personal expression that may remind listeners of legends like Sarah Vaughan and Carmen McRae. Oscar Ployart Trio accompanies her with great energy and joyful playing.
