The Perky Pollyvocs

The Perky Pollyvocs from Dresden bring a mix of Western Swing, Hillbilly Boogie, R&B and Jazz in the style of the 30s to 50s into the ear canal. Names such as Hank Penny, Lucky Millinder, Tex Williams, Ink Spots and Jimmy Rodgers can be found in the repertoire as well as one or the other original composition. They themselves call their mix "Polyvocal Swing", in which especially the polyphonic singing stands out. This not only encourages rhythmic sympathy, but also leaves enthusiastic faces and one or the other smile, because fun is in the first place in the Pollyvocs.

The debut album "Tales From The Pond" was released in 2019, since July 2023 the current work "...Til The Cows Come Home" is at the start.
