Standard Crow Behavior

Elegantly, a single microphone shines from the middle of the stage. Two tall men and a small woman step into the light with their instruments and sing about a man who seeks his lost love after years. He won’t find her, in truth she had never met... Not all songs of the German-American band Standard Crow Behavior are so quirky. It is about departure, the desire to forget, getting old, about waves that carry everything and everyone with them and the question of real life.
The name of the band is borrowed from a traditional American radio show, but the three young musicians not only feel comfortable with fast-paced old-timey bluegrass. They all write songs and create a fluid connection of traditional folk, modern pop, through-composed music and jazz. Without interruption and with dream-shifting certainty, the songs alternate between guitar, mandolin, banjo, violin and violin. Her passionate three-part sentence singing makes the use of sound effects superfluous and makes the listener stand still for a moment and enjoy the moment.
They are versatile and set out for nothing less than to research a new term: Kammerfolk.
Standard Crow Behavior play music that speaks for itself. Originally. Sung and played side by side. Through a microphone.
