ARTIST
STANLEY & STANLEY & STANLEY

Alain Croubalian, Swiss with Armenian and Egyptian roots, is a musician, actor and journalist who can look back on almost 40 years of stage experience. From the early 80s until 2005 he was singer and guitarist of the Geneva punk rock band LES MANIACS. Since 1998, he has been the director of the dark folk chapel THE DEAD BROTHERS, which – as a funeral band – has exposed the dark sources of the blues in European folklore. As a musician and actor, he worked at the Schauspielhaus Zurich, Theater Basel and the Schauspielhaus Hamburg.
There he meets country musician Digger Barnes and multi-instrumentalist Friedrich Paravicini in 2015. Together they form STANLEY & STANLEY & STANLEY, an amateur band in the true sense of the word: “This European island combo plays the great tunes of calypso, sad acoustic ditties and Dead Alain’s weirdest songs, the soul of the lost Armenians howling in the mist.”
