Tobias Haug Quartett

The young band, consisting of musicians from Cologne and Essen, moves mainly in the traditional field. It is the common love for hard-bop that unites the four musicians. They convince with their energetic and forward-moving game and bring every piece to swinging. Her repertoire is influenced by great artists such as Dexter Gordon, Cedar Walton and Art Blakey, who were able to set new impulses with hard bop in the 60s. The quartet mainly plays its own compositions.
