Silvan Joray Trio

• Silvan Joray (guitar/composition)
• Nadav Erlich (double bass)
• Josep Cordobés (drums)

Take three young jazz musicians, a concentrated load of musicality, a large portion of fun and a dash of humor. This results in the melodic jazz of the Silvan Joray Trio, which lives on the one hand from the musicians who played perfectly on each other and on the other hand from the catchy and imaginative compositions of the bandleader.

The trio invites with impetus and wit a uf a musical journey of discovery, whose stages are peppered with playful interaction, dreamy melodies and inspiring rhythms.

Wolfgang Muthspiel, October 2017: The exceptionally talented guitarist Silvan Joray has thoroughly absorbed the tradition and developed his own style of jazz. He always inspires me with his deep understanding of improvisation. His solos come loose and as if by the way, and tell stories that you want to follow.

His trio is a well-rehearsed sound body that lives from the constant interaction and the shared joy of creating. Recommended Listening!

Lionel Loueke, December 2018: “Silvan is one of those young musicians that you know from the beginning: he will be doing good things simply because he’s talented, a hard worker and a good composer.”

The world needs to hear him.
