About the concert
Heidi Fial's trio Kontrapunk plays brittle, cinematic instrumental jazz in a deep-seated cast. Two double basses dance with and against each other, outrageous guitar sounds interfere and set the counterpoint, idiosyncratic percussion wears and dances equally.
Heidi’s passion for film/film music and rawness/irony of long, detour-rich journeys cannot be ignored. A sense of music and life that inevitably leads to improvisational outbursts.
