Daniel Hirth Quartett

Daniel Hirth Quartett

Contemporary jazz with cross-genre influences – that is the sound of the Daniel Hirth Quartet. Consisting of the guitarist and namesake Daniel Hirth, the tenor saxophonist Max Rademacher, the bassist Lisa Wulff and the drummer Moritz Hamm, the Hamburg-born band combines sounds and rhythms from different musical worlds.

The main influences of the guitarist are in modern jazz, classical music and pop music. Together, the four musicians create a modern sound that thrives on individual musical expressiveness and attentive sensitivity. This creates intimate and fragile, but also energetic and groovy compositions.

In June 2020, Daniel Hirth’s debut album “Auf ein Wort” was released, on which various line-ups can be heard from the trio to the quintet.
