Magro

MAGRORO Berlin drummer and producer MAGRO blends acoustic jazz elements with electronic hip hop & R’n’B beats in his music. In doing so, he creates a contemporary form of jazz rap, in which influences from Herbie Hancock, to J Dilla, to Chris Dave shine through.

After working with numerous artists over the years as a drummer and producer (among others). Kenny Wesley, J Lamotta and Stimulus, has released his first album - "Trippin" - under his own name. On the album, Magro featured some of his favorite musicians and singers – including Jazz great Kurt Rosenwinkel, aspiring alternative soul singer Leona Berlin and US rapper TwizzMatic.

This evening, Magro performs with Rapturous Apollo Helios (R.A.H). R.A.H. is the frontman of the legendary band "The Swag", whose weekly jam session at the Badehaus Berlin has already seen many great artists: women from all over the world, such as Erykah Badu and Robert Glasper.
