Kilian Sladek | Singer, composer, cultural manager

Kilian Sladek, born in 1994, is a German singer (M.Mus.), composer and cultural manager (M.A.) in the field of jazz and its adjacent genres.

His core projects as a singer are FRAGMENTS (Ambient and Neoscat), the duo SLADEK | KOLLROSS (Standard Jazz), and aMUSE (Poetic Jazz) together with singer and composer Karoline Weidt.

The high emotionality of his artistic expression, combined with the frequent use of unconventional musical means such as extended vocal techniques and scatting, distinguishes his music and makes it accessible to a wide audience.

As a cultural manager and curator, he founded the Baltic Breeze Creative Music Festival in Munich and oversees the concert series Jazz Montag Ismaning. As a composer/arranger, he is distinguished in particular by the conceptual and composition commission of the TUM: Junge Akademie for the short film production “The Human Algorithm”, which was presented at the TUMJA Symposium #class20 “Arts & Technology - Celebrate Creativity”.
