Die Bagles

The Bagles are a band, not a pastry! But just as our round namesakes have their origin in Jewish cuisine, we have our musical roots in the klezmer.

The repertoire is now extensive: from the Balkans and Russian folklore to Tango, Cumbia and Salsa to Chanson and Italo-Schlager. Since 2003 we have played the large and small stages from Hamburg to Lake Constance, from Görlitz to Montpellier: At the Jewish Theaterwoche in the Societätstheater Dresden, the Folklorum, at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, to the Cape Arkona Festival, the Bunten Republik Neustadt. We are also regular guests at the Blue Note Dresden - for many years reliable on the 26th. December.

We like to play for you and us, for dancing or indulging, in public or private settings. Be it the nephew’s bar mitzvah, the wedding with lovers or the inauguration of BER – whatever there is to celebrate.
