Maximilian Hering Group feat. Fernando Brox

Maximilian Hering Group was born in Barcelona in autumn 2018. The special cast – two winds, double bass and drums – turned out to be extremely successful and offered a lot of freedom for improvisation within the pieces as well as the players to express their personal musical voice. After the successful live debut, the band continued on their common path, followed by further concerts and compositions.

In the spring of 2021, the current line-up with Félix Rossy on the trumpet, Edu Cabello on the alto saxophone, David Muñoz on double bass and Maximilian Hering on drums recorded their first album “Nostalgia” in Barcelona. This was released in January 2022 by Klangraum Records and features the Andalusian flutist Fernando Brox on two of the seven original compositions.
